Valentines Day

Halloween

Spooky time! I was raised as a Jehovah Witness and was not allowed to celebrate holidays as a child. So naturally as an adult, I overcompensate and go ALL OUT.

Thanksgiving

If you go straight from spooky to Christmas, you’re doing it wrong! You’re cutting yourself short a whole holiday! In my home we decorate for Thanksgiving as well. It’s easy, you don’t really need a whole since you can just keep up all your fall decor from Halloween and just pack up the spooky stuff and just put up a couple Thanksgiving specific decorations.

Christmas

Christmas! this is the grand finale of every year and of course we go ALL OUT. We actually have two Christmas trees, the large one for the living room and a smaller tree for our bedroom as well. We put the “pretty/matching” (and unbreakable) ornaments on the main tree, and the sentimental/breakable ones on our bedroom tree.
